ABOUT

Screenshot 2024-10-13 at 12.53.30 PM.png

As a sophomore from Houston, Texas, I’ve had the privilege of training with Katie Lambert-Boone of Irish Day Farm since I was seven years old. Under her guidance, I’ve had the opportunity to ride a variety of horses, earning championships, top derby placings, and classic wins.

I have a deep passion for the hunter ring and have spent countless hours watching old videos and working with my horses. I believe that dedication and practice, both in and out of the saddle, are key to success in the show ring. I currently have two wonderful junior hunters, Penelope OPL and Nothing Personal, with whom I’ve earned numerous championships and classic victories. Most notably, I was the back-to-back Grand Hunter Champion at the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show in 2023 and 2024. I’m also ranked in the top 20 nationally with Nothing Personal, who competed in his first-ever 3'3" class in April 2024. In just a few months, we’ve climbed the rankings, earned my first-ever score above 90, and placed in the top 10 at the Junior Hunter Finals.

While I’m primarily a hunter rider, I also have a junior jumper that I’m eager to get back in the ring with and compete in the 1.30m classes. Even though she’s a jumper, she’s my favorite horse in the world—her sire was the legendary Hickstead!

I recently switched to online school to focus on my riding and take it to the next level. I’m currently finalizing a working student position with Havens Schatt at Milestone Farm, where I’ll have the incredible opportunity to learn from one of the greatest hunter riders of all time. While I’ll be soaking up everything I can, I’ll also continue taking honors and AP-level courses.

I’m excited about the prospect of riding in college, where I’ll not only have my four-legged teammates but also a team of two-legged ones to cheer on and support.
